Bulk Item Collection for 2010

Keeping the trash cleaned up in the alley is the responsibility of the property owner/occupant.

 A citation can be sent to the address of the property the trash is on and, if a rental, the owner. If more than one property is affected all of them can be cited. If a bulk pickup is needed, the occupant needs to call 311 for DPW to pick up thrash.

 

There is a $50 fee for collection of appliances. Items too large to fit in a Supercan should be placed beside your Supercan out of the roadway. Such items are collected by the City on a four-week, rotating schedule based on Zip Code. Following is the current collection cycle:

MARCH 7-13, April 4-10, May 2-8, May 31-June 5, June 27-July 3, July 25-31, August 22-28, September 19-25, October 17-23, November 14-20, December 12-18.

Collection Zone Zip Codes: 23221, 23220

February 28-March 6, March 28-April 3, April 25-May 1, May23-29, June 20-26, July18-24, August 15-21, September 12-18, October 10-16, November 7-13, December 5-11.
